Aims and Scope

The aim of the journal is to promote the development of legal linguistics, a new branch of language studies. The journal makes a special effort to cross disciplinary boundaries and be a forum for researchers who address various contentious issues that arise on the border of language, law and conflict studies. In their publications scholars look for new techniques, tools and methods to investigate legal communication, legal writing, linguistic expertise, language policy, and legal education. The editorial board members are committed to produce a journal that is non-mainstream and open to new ideas.
