The aim of the journal is to promote the development of legal linguistics, a new branch of language studies. The journal makes a special effort to cross disciplinary boundaries and be a forum for researchers who address various contentious issues that arise on the border of language, law and conflict studies. The editorial board members are committed to produce a journal that is non-mainstream and open to new ideas.
